I just received my brand new GAMO Swarm Gen 3i Fusion 10X pellet rifle in .22 caliber today. It uses 10 round rotary clips. I also ordered 1000 rounds of GAMO pellets for the gun. I have followed the bare bones instructions that came with the gun on how to load the clips, but the pellets do not go down far enough into the clipe to allow the mechanism to rotate to the next open slot so I can load the next pellet.

I ordered a spare clip, so I have two, and they both do this.

I have to use the thicker allen wrench seen in the pic, to very gently push the pellets just a little further down into the clip.

Just wondering if anyone else has any experience with this, or similar pellet guns and multi round clips that don't load as easily as they should.

In the pic, the clip closest to the camera has a pellet sitting in the load opening just for demonstration purposes to show where they load. I tried to draw a yellow arrow to better indicate, but it didn't show up very clearly. The other clip is completely full, you can't see the pellets when they are properly seated in the clip.

Try a different brand of pellets (like JSB or RWS). Maybe the pellet head is too large.
Try a different tool for pressing them in.

I have one of those. I use a ball point pen to push the pellets down. Works great. I have found that pellets around 17.5 gr (I forget) work best for accuracy. Tried many weights and they work best.

Thanks folks. I actually bought 3 different types of GAMO brand pellets, all of them had this same issue. Since I did figure out how to get the pellets fully into the clips, I was just really surprised that a company that has been making pellet rifles for so long would have a weird issue like this.

You mentioned that you have since figured out how to get the pellets to fully load into the clips, but you didn't say how or what the process is that gets them fully loaded. What was the solution? I'm having the same issue and I'm hoping the solution isn't to use a tool (wrench, pen, stick, etc.) to poke them down far enough. I'm planning to use my Swarm Fusion Gen3i for hunting, and having to pull out a tool in order to load more pellets would be quite a pain.

Also, aren't you loading your pellets upside down? The instructions say, "Insert the pellets into the magazine with the tip facing down." However, your photo is showing the bottom of the magazine (you can see the green number 2 is upside down), and that should show the tip of the pellet, not the skirt, correct? You should be able to see the skirt from the top of the magazine - the part that shows the counterclockwise arrows and says "LOAD". Am I misunderstanding this or do you have it loaded incorrectly in your photo?

You are loading your clips upside down. Flip it over and then load them.
