IMG_7163.jpg Bought a cheap Harbor Freight pump and tried it. Would Not work. Tube would not go past tank valve. Then cut the end of the Tube at a 45° angle. Tube went into tank no problem. Pumped fuel out easily. Like $10. No need to drop tank. Worked on my 99 Taco

A 45-degree angle? That's good to know. Thanks for the info!

I have a similar pump (have not used it on my truck). At least mine seems to need to be primed by dumping some fuel into the to pump first. Did you have any trouble with that?

No issues at all. Started pumping and the fuel started to flow out pretty easy. It would not work until I cut the hose on an angle. Saved me a big headache of dropping the tank.
