I just installed a TRD Pro Grill with Raptor Lights on my 2019 TT TRD. I paired the fuse adapter on my HL 10 amp fuse. The lights only turn on when full headlights are on, what fuse # should I pair to have them come on when I turn on my running lights?

    What have others done ?

PS - I did search for fuse adapters and raptor lights before posting. No luck...maybe I'm not focused.

I tapped mine directly into the side marker lights. No fuse needed.

Thanks for the reply! I'm a bit lazy as I've already wired it into a fuse adapter so I just want to re-locate into the right fuse.

    Thanks again.

You need to hook it up to the location in your fuse box called INJ.

That will make your lights turn on when the engine is on, that way they are always on regardless if you have your DRL or Low Beams.

Just for the sake of other alternatives, I ran mine to the interior fuse box and with an add-a-fuse tapped into p/outlet no1

I’m thinking on doing that as well, but I would like to know if when you turn off the truck the lights also turn off. I want the lights on when the truck is on and off when the truck is off. Would the power outlet fuse be good for that? I’m trying to avoid putting it on ignition fuse or fuel injectors as I’ve heard it sometimes turns on randomly since the fuel injectors does something like a self test.

This specific setup does exactly that. Basically when the ignition is on the lights comes on. When it is off, they turn off.

    Hi All
Just received my set of “raptor lights” for my TRD Pro 2019,and with an ohm meter and simple electrical circuit drawing this is what I have come up with…after testing out the add a fuse harness it has 2 pins that are the same as a regular fuse, so you pull out the fuse of choice(function)and you install that existing fuse onto the add a fuse holder on the bottom of my particular device.
The fuse inline with the wire to your add-on accessory is the fuse for that accessory.
BUT the add a fuse looks like this circuit that I will attach here.
All is good or is it?
Well depending on the way you insert the add a fuse device two things can happen.
On the one way of installing it all is straight forward ,the other way you are now adding the load of your accessory onto the original function fuse.
Not saying it’s not going to work But depending on the size of load of your accessory this can be a problem.
The LED raptor light kit for the most part is low current draw,so you may be ok.
The situation that can happen here is there may be a fault on your raptor light that can potentially blow your fuse of the original function or possibly some other issue before the new accessory fuse blows because you are now adding the 2 loads on to the original fuse.
So check with a meter set on to DC Volts which pin on the fuse panel is the source (the feed) and which is the load.
If you are going to use the fuse for your INJF7A09AA5-DDB5-437B-9354-93A98E57D4A6.jpg then this could be a problem and can leave you stranded.
If you can Not switch around the add a fuse device, you may want to consider another option.
A little long winded I know!! But you can argue with me but you can’t argue with electricity.

I tried hooking them up to the fog light fuse and had the same problem, once I turned the running lights on with the fog light they came on but wouldn’t turn off. Is the fog light fuse a hot fuse? I would like to have it work with the running lights not the ignition if possible under the hood fuse box

You'll need to run the wire to the cab and tap the PANEL or TAIL fuse.
    Or this:

Tap wire #7 on EB1 (at engine bay fuse/relay box)...use a Posi-tap, it has a wire seal on both wires.
