I throw sticks of dynamite at intruders. It gets pretty nerve racking using a 1/4 fuse, but like all others... I’m allowed to choose what to use for home defense.

you know what works better than that?

regular bullets, fired from more useful firearms that have better load capacities

I dont need a rifled barrel....pistol isnt going to get me to the clay range. Pistol is more worthless by your standards than a shotgun, i cant breach with a pistol, maybe a snake with SHOTSHELLS, Why do i need 17 or 18rds that might let a perp live when i can mess up a mofo in less than 5 with shotgun.

Shotgun is used in a lot of places for hunting deer.

No need to get all nasty (really CNN? Thats just plain mean man!!!)

For a defense weapon in and around your house a shotgun is the go to weapon. Period. I'm not saying a pistol or rifle wont work, not at all. I'm just saying that a shotgun is what should be grabbed if you have one available.

    Scenario:

You just got woken up from a deep sleep by a noise. It's pitch black, you cant see shit, your rubbing the sand from sleeping out of your eyes. Your a bit shaky, nervous and scared. (Read: you are not firing at 100% like you are at a range).

Do you want to hit your target guaranteed or do you want to wing off 16 rounds from your pistol and hope you hit him with all that shit going on.

Oh and you have to worry about your wife, kids, pets and anyone else who may be in the house, your neighbors next door and across the street.

But hey man, you be you!

I'll see your rifle and raise a shotgun that looks like a rifle.

I just can’t with drums on rifles. Unless it’s a 1920’s tommy gun, I immediately think anyone with a drum magazine is a suburban teenager that wants to be a fan banger more then anything when he grows up.

There are a few AR12’s on the market now. Think they average $800 up. Could be wrong on the price, especially during all the nonsense. The regular megs for them are pretty sweet.

that shotgun drum holds what? 12 rounds?

the same-sized ammunition drum on a rifle would hold 60 rounds

    I think I paid $400 for my Panzer AR12 with 2x 5 round magazines and 1x 10 round magazine.

Plus, big black guns are "scary". "Scary" is good.
