I am looking for some input for these wheels. They are a 16x8 with a +01 offset. I was going to go with a 265/70/16. Tire rack is telling me that his system is telling him aggressive fit meaning preferred lift for wheel well modification. With the factory TRD OR wheel being a +25 offset I thought I would reach out to all of you for some advice. I did find one post in searching where there was a post with these wheels but I cannot see any other details regarding these. I did PM him as well. Thanks in advance for the responses.

I just ordered a set of the 16x8 Fuel Blitz wheels with 265/75R16 Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires. I have an appointment to get them mounted and balanced next Saturday. I'll let you know if I get any rubbing on my stock TRDOR.

If I get rubbing, my plan is to run a Bilstein 5100 at the lowest or middle setting in the front.

How are you liking those Fuel wheels a few months later? I have a 2021 OR in cement (with a 2 inch Eibach lift) and absolutely love the way that they look on your truck. If you are still happy with them, I think I am going to pull the trigger. My main concern was the shift from the 7 inch stock rim to the 8 inch rim, but everything I read says that it is still entirely fine (does it still look good on yours - not to square on the tires?). I love these rims and I am trying to get to the near 0 offset for a bit more poke and so these fit the bill, but wanted to get your honest assessment a few months after buying them.

Also, what lugnuts did you use? I am guessing that the stock ones won't work on the Fuel wheels. If not, did you get a set from Tirerack as well? Any info would be appreciated. I am going to wrap the wheels in 265/75/16 KO2s.

Yeah, I still love the setup. I think the gloss black is easier to clean than a matte finish. I don't mind the profile width of the wheel, I think it looks just right. The tires don't bubble out and they don't sit too flush with the wheel either.

Tire Rack sent new lugnuts and a lugnut adapter that fits a standard lug wrench. The new lugnuts fit great. The stock lugs look too thick to mount.

I still haven't rubbed on this setup. I made no fender modifications either.

No. It was residue leftover from the mounting/balancing earlier that morning. It wiped right off.

Thanks to seeing Alden's pictures with the Blitz wheels (a few posts above), I got my own 16x8 Fuel Blitz Gloss Black installed yesterday and I absolutely love them. Some pics below, but first, some info that I spent far too many hours trying to figure out before buying them. Hopefully this info and the pics makes things easier for someone else, ha!

Some details about my truck that might be relevant: 2021 Cement OR 4wd with 265/75/r16 KO2s and a 2inch Eibach suspension lift (with 1.5 inches in rear from a Wheeler's Offroad Progressive AAL).

The Fuel Blitz wheels are +1mm offset, 4.52in backspacing, and right at 25lbs per wheel. This translates to 1.5 inches more poke than on the stock OR rims, with about .5 inch of tire out past the fenders. This is extremely noticeable in comparison to stock, but not so much that it looks like it is trying too hard, which I think can happen sometimes with negative offsets. I think it is subtle but aggressive, which is exactly what I was going for. As far as weight, the new wheels are a few ounces lighter than the stock OR rims. I have absolutely no rubbing with the Blitz wheels, but with the suspension lift, I was not expecting any (but see Alden's posts above in the thread reporting no rubbing even on the stock suspension). As far as cost, I paid $728 for the wheels, center caps, and new black lugnuts from TireRack.

I was worried about the gloss black being too shiny and making my tires look brown (Fuel also has black with machined accents and also a version with machined dark tint). I am extremely pleased that they look great and really allow the wheels to stand out from the tires in cool ways rather than disappearing into the black-hole that can sometimes happen with matte black wheels. Also, they are amazingly easy to clean. The design of the Blitz is perfect for using Wheel Woolies and they don't have any fake beadlocks that can trap sand and mud, etc.

I was also worried about the move from 7in to 8in width without going up to a 275 or 285 on the tire itself. But, the 16x8 is great for the 265 width tire. They do not look too square/flat on the wheel and they are much less ballooned out like they were on the stock 16x7 OR rims. I really think it is a perfect look.

These wheels are great. Additionally, for what it is worth (which I admit is not much, ha!), this particular setup of the 16x8 Blitz with 265/75/r16 tires allows me to have an aggressive looking truck, but with my average mpg still being between 20-21, my ride quality remaining great, my power remaining sufficient without gear hunting, no need for new UCAs, no fender trimming, no CMC, etc. I know lots of folks are committed to the 285s (33s), but for my money, this is a really fantastic option for anyone who is trying to avoid the slippery slope that going to 33s can sometimes bring with it. I admit that 33s look ridiculously cool though!

Anyway, I know that wheels and tire setups are very subjective, but I am thrilled with the Blitz and highly recommend them to anyone currently looking for stock replacements.

Ok, so here are some pictures that I wish I had had while trying to make the decision on wheels. I have a few before and then some after - I tried to show the same angles on the poke. This is the same truck and tires in both pictures - the only difference is the new Blitz wheels. I think that the difference is amazing!

Thanks for all of the info guys! I own a Stock 2019 Tacoma TRD Off Road that I put 265/75/16 BF Goodrich K02's on about a year ago and have been looking at the Fuel BLITZ wheels to replace my Stock wheels now for awhile. I am actually looking at the BLITZ Gloss Black with Milled Accents even though I have blacked out everything on my Tacoma (Black Smoked Headlights, tail lights, side mirror turn signals, TRD Pro Grill with black Toyota lettering, Badging, etc.). I will have to post pics once I have the new Fuel Wheels installed.
Thanks again for posting this info!

You will love the Blitz wheels! I just got my aftermarket red logo center caps yesterday and they look fantastic with the red TRD vinyl and the red 4wd on my mudflaps from Tuffskinz. Also, I took my truck offroad in A LOT of mud a few days ago and the wheels cleaned up extremely easy. The decision to buy these took me way too much time and energy, but I couldn't be happier with how they turned out! IMG_2542-1.jpg

One question, did you have to order new TPMS sensors or did the stock sensors work with the Fuel Wheels?
I believe the Stock TRD Off Road wheels that I have are OE Alloy which the Fuel Wheels are the same so I am guessing they will work but just thought I would ask.

The stock TPMS worked fine. I had the new wheels installed at Toyota just to make sure it was all good to go and they told me that the wheels fit "perfectly" and didn't even need the hubcentric rings that come with them, and the TPMS sensors swapped over without any problems. Pic from yesterday out in the mountains with the new wheels and red center caps:IMG_2553.jpg
