I'm just curious what do these do? Is it like a pre-amp booster?

All factory radios roll off bass the higher you turn the volume. This restores it and yes, it goes before the amp

These Epicenters were the shit (in a good way) back in the heydays of car audio (late 80s/early 90s).

One of few pieces of audio gear that has stood the test of time and remains sought after by some audiophiles. Very nostalgic too.

Good luck with your sale... buyer will be lucky.

Thanks! I wouldn't know cuz that's before my time but this thing is awesome. I'm only selling it because my Kenwood deck broke and I replaced it with a stock radio so I had to get the LC7i (also from Audiocontrol here in Seattle) which has bass boost built in but the epicenter as a dedicated device is much better at it plus you can run a remote bass nob to your arm rest and adjust it on the fly... like piss off some retirees at a stop light with a Slayer riff... and turn it back down a notch on green to preserve your interior lol

Hrmmm... my HU has pre-amp voltage control and signal/phase/mono/stereo controls for sub pre-amp, my active Xover has same controls with knob on console, wonder if i can triple up? Lol! Piss of old people a little more! Lol!

I never used one of these but sounds interesting for sure

Was asking cause I was interested as I have a sub added but think it could be producing better sound. I am running the stock head unit so I guess this would not work. 2015 tacoma.

How much for it shipped to Milwaukee? Do you accept PayPal? And is the bass knob included?
