$8500 OBO, also willing to part out, see prices below.

Pics over at ExPo - https://forum.expeditionportal.com/...coma-with-interior-build.240629/#post-3128178

Located in the Salt Lake City area. If interested or have any questions, please reach out, I’d like this setup to be with someone who will use it.

This was one of the last Flippacs made by FRP in 2015 or 2016. It was originally on a Nissan Fontier (painted Forged Copper?) with its first owner and then on my Toyota Tacoma (painted Magnetic Gray Metallic). It’s been used by people who have loved camping in it. It’s been kept in garages in the southwest for it’s whole life, so it’s still in great shape.

The liftgate of the Flippac has been modified to fit the tailgate of the 3rd Gen Tacoma.

SLO rainfly, gray, 6 vinyl windows.

    Flippac - $5500 OBO

Interior furniture is 8020 framing with 1/2” ABS sheet that has been painted with Monstaliner or carpeted. No wood.

Dometic CFX3 35 with cover and DFG slide - $650 OBO

Eberspacher 2kW diesel heater with East Start Pro Controller and high quality 6gal fuel tank - $800 OBO

15gal water tank with pump and faucet.

    100Ahr SOK lithium battery.

Victron Orion Tr Smart 12/12-30 DCDC Charger.

Victron Smartsolar 75/15 MPPT Solar Charger.

    Victron BMV-712 Battery Monitor.

AIMS Power 130W portable solar panel.

I also had one of the last made FRP Flippacs, but short bed.

For the asking price of $6000 for the flippac, I’m going to highly recommend that you post photos of the torsion bar, hinges and sealant where the raw steel hinges enter the inside where there is untreated wood and corroguated cardboard inside.

If the sealant has started to shrink and let in moisture, it’s only a matter of time until failure.

Of course, if yours is in mint shape and doesn’t have this issue, carry on. But any educated person on Flippacs will want to see this.

It’s been an awesome setup, it’s a little bittersweet to see it go.

I’ve read of what you’re talking about and it’s definitely an area any buyer should examine. As this Flippac has seen more time in a garage than in the elements, there are none of those issues. Nonetheless, I’ll get some pics of that area to calm any concerns.

Thumbs up from me, looks good.

To anyone interested, it looks to be in mint condition so maybe just buy a spare torsion bar from SwayAway while they are in stock for peace of mind and you’ll be good for a long time.

Looks like BAMF/Jerry is coming in to save the Toyota community from a poor vendor, once again.

    Prices lowered.

I haven’t spoken with anybody, so that was on me for listing it too high. If anybody’s interested, get in touch, I’d really just like to move on and make sure this setup gets used the way it’s supposed to be. My family of 3 loved it.

I know cold weather is coming. I’ve camped in Jan and Feb in the desert southwest and been completely comfortable in this setup.

Any idea if this would fit on a 1st gen (6’ bed)?

I think I remember reading they will, I think there are different mounting kits for the different gens. Don't quote me on that. I'm working my first nightshift in 2 years

I believe @gixxerphil is correct. There was only one 6’ mold from the 70s or 80s that was universal for all the “small” trucks - it fit Frontiers, Rangers, 1st/2nd Gen Tacomas, etc. Technically, FRP never verified the fit on the 3rd Gen Tacoma since they went out of business the year they came out.

The outside dimensions are about 75” x 64” at the bedrails.

Let me know if there’s any other details you’re interested in.
