    I have a Gates 348376 Power Steering Rebuild Kit. Has all the seals and components necessary. Bag has been opened, however all seals are present.

    No, this has only 2 VTEC’s when you need at least 3.8 VTEC’s.

    Oh and this is the version of the kit that will only work with a spoiler that is at least 36” in length.

    Is this kit specific to the 3.4? I've got a 1998 2.7 that I've just rebuilt the engine in .... why not rebuild the steering pump?



    Sorry I'm not really asking that second question for a real answer, unless some one feels they gotta tell me something :rofl:

    I’m going to say it’s specific to the 5VZ. You can share parts between the 2RZ and 3RZ since they’re the same block, just a deeper bore on the 3RZ.

    Yes they are completely different, thank you for giving me the gumption to check. The first part number is for the gasket kit on the V6 3.4 and the second listing part number is for the I4 2.7. I used 98 as the reference year since that's what I own.


    Just saying for the sake of easier future searches
