I got this Frostguard windshield cover as a gift a few of years ago. I leave for work at 4 am and this thing has saved me so much time from having to scrape any frost off or even clearing any snow off the windshield. Most mornings I don't even have to use the defroster.

I was wondering if anyone in the colder states have been using something like this and have had similar results?

Last year we had a snow storm where we got about 20+ inches. The snow gave it some weight, but cleaned off real quick. For +/- $35, the material is very durable. I've been using it for a few years now and it still looks like new.

That's a great idea right there. Wish I had one when I lived on the east coast for a few years... spent hours scraping ice.

I've had mine for about 6 years and I love it! Takes a lot of the work out of getting ready on a frosty morning.

If I know ice & snow are on the way, I usually throw a tarp over my truck cab. That way, I can take all the snow or ice off in one tug the next morning.

I was real skeptical when I first got it. Now I love it and if I know it'll be cold in the morning its an automatic that it's going on. Even bought some covers for the mirrors so I can instantly see out of them instead of waiting for them to defrost.

Bought a window cover on the cheap years back. Works great for both wet and dry snow and ice. Window is ice free and no scrapping. Well worth the investment.

    Thanks
