I searched around the forum and didn't find any recent threads for a recommended sunshield for my 2021 Tacoma. I purchased one from Amazon that said it fits the new Tacoma's but I got it today and when I put it in it bows quite a bit. Going to have to send it back.

Looking for any recommendations for a nice compact one that won't cost a lot.

I got the Weathertech a couple of weeks ago. Fits nicely and easy to put up/take down. Not cheap but it works well.

Here in AZ it's the LAW that you use 'em... ( kidding ) ...

I run a big towel over the everything to keep the steering wheel from searing my hands too.
Probably need to get something real.

Wow dropping down to 101 next week, better get the sweaters out.

Also in AZ and have them in every vehicle. We get ours at Costco, can’t remember the size, and they hold up really well.

I think mines around that same age. It'd be cool if they were a bit more reflective but they're still awesome

Yea mine is silver, I think there are some other colors that may be more reflective. Mine is always almost too hot to touch whenever I take it down after being at work in the sun all day.

I live in AZ as well and a sunshade is a MUST. I went with the covercraft silver on my 2021 and it fits perfectly and even has extra space on the drivers side if you have a dash cam. My wife has the same one in her '21 TRD PRO 4runner, she has the toyota factory dash cam and the covercraft fits around it with zero interference or issue. I have run covercraft for several years on several different vehicles and they hold up great. Even had the one in my tundra sat on, stepped on and pinched in the seat when it was folded down. Never did any damage to it.

Just don’t use a reflecting one. If you have or plan to add a dash cam. The camera will get hotter.

I bought the Weathertech ones that go in the front windshield and also rear and side ones also. They are reflective for during the summer and during the winter turn it around to the black side. It is supposed to keep the heat to keep the windows from frosting over. I live in south Mississippi and haven't had a chance to use the black side even though we only have a few weeks of cold freezing weather. But so far I love them. I work night shift so when I get home in the morning I just stick them in the windows while I sleep during the day. Also helps to keep the inside cool.

Another vote for covercraft. I’ve had them for most of my vehicles no complaints.

Could you cut it to make a small dash cam fit (Garmin 66W). Dash cam is hard wired and I’m using a suction cup to mount it next to the mirror.

I have one in the GoPro mount. I just don't push the cover all the way up against the glass.

    So it’s flexible enough?
