I'm needing to replace my front wheel bearings, Looking on RockAuto theres the economy brands then the Standard Replacements. ACDELCO GOLD is the most expensive at $177 then thers MOOG at $115/ea. From my research MOOG is not really recomended for quality? Is that correct? ROCKAUTO.jpg

Besides the dealer, where can i find OE replacements? These are the OE ones i'm changing out since i bought the truck in 2013. Truck is a 2012 Tacoma TSS that a couple bought in Oklahoma, drove it up to Alaska and decided they needed a Tunda for up here. I bought it used with 4900 miles on it. Only thing i've done to it is oil/fluid changes and did the Seccondary Air Injection delete. Reliable little trucks

I bought mine from a member on this site. Unfortunately, can't remember his handle at the moment.

    Edit: @05Taco4x4 is the man

Only way to guarantee your getting true OE is to walk out of the dealer with them. Any place you purchase from may say oem(original equipment manufacturer) are not the same. All parts made for the dealer are built to Toyotas specs. Even if buy from the same manufacturer from let’s say Rock Auto they are not built to the same specs.

I heard SKF is your best bet for aftermarket.

I have a hard time believing that's not either misrepresented or just plain counterfeited. Betting it will not say KOYO anywhere on it though. I'll buy from EB if I'm willing to get garbage, not real. Not any more.
edit: after really looking. Maybe. It's risky now tho that even labled is fake. Even Rolex fakes are getting hard to tell.

The OE replacement line is the red flag to me. It could certainly be ok, price isn't 'too good to be true'. I shouldn't label it all as fake.

Another vote for Bluepit. I have had mine for almost 25k miles. No issues. I'm not a fan of any Dorman, Moog or Timken. I especially don't like Dorman stuff for bearings, suspension or steering components.
