Today was the day I finally got around to installing the new Sumo front bumps. These things are great! I mean it rides real smooth now in the front.

Only issue I had was trying to squeeze them under the as it touched the lower control arm when installing. Once on there they have like maybe a little bit of play before they engage.

Definitely improved the ride up front and takes all the vibration and shock out of potholes speedbumps etc. Haven't gone offroad yet Soo I'll update when I get a chance.

Update : link for y'all to buy em

I did Fox 2.0 Coilovers on my last Taco. I think I might just go the Bilstein route this time because of the overwhelmingly good things people say.

Mine ride very well and didn't break the bank. I just made the mistake of ordering through 4Wheel parts which was a nightmare and I'll avoid them like the plague.

I had no idea this was a specifically designed product for the front. I thought your were just making some rear ones work. This is even more promising. Looks like a superbump competitor.

I originally was going to go with Timbren but then I saw a promo video on their Twitter and Instagram for these and I cancelled my order for the Timbrens and picked these up. I haven't had any experience with any other front bumps on my Taco so thought I'd take one for the team. Glad to report I'm pleased.

Excellent in every way. I had stock sport suspension and the ride was firm. The Bilstein was firm too but not nearly as harsh on bumps and handled turns and whoops really really well.

Since the Bilsteins are digressive valved and the sumos are progressive in nature they compliment each other well. Very buttery transitions into one another when suspension and sumos work together on bumps.

Its also worth mentioning that this tones down the infamous Taco Lean. Doesn't take it away but it's alot less noticable. Just my 2¢

Thank you. Yea I removed the wheel to get easier access. I suppose you could get away without removing the wheel but then you'd have very little room to get the channel locks in there and bite down hard on the old bumps.

They just screw in. The nut is for other applications from what I read on the instructions like 4 runners and one of the Lexus SUVs
