Front Parking sensor?

Anyone installed any front parking sensors of any kind besides a camera?
Any info or tips is appreciated.

 

Thinking how this could work? How would the noise go off if it's not in reverse?

 

Haven't extensively explored it, but they sell them on Amazon, etc. and I've seen it stock in a new Explorer rental where it was gauged to the distance of the object just like the rear system, but it also had a visual representation of proximity on the car navi/audio display.

 

I like the idea. I ended up in a bush a few weeks ago because of my bad judgement and wasn't to pleased about that.

 

I put a front cam in and it has the proximity lines.

 

We've all been there bud. Usually not an actual bush, but still...

 

Can you view that while your driving? Can you give more details on the set up?

The front cam? View while driving? Yes. And if u want can do video while driving. And nav anytime. And rear cam anytime as well.

Are you OK doing electrical wiring?
If u buy the harness I can do all the setup on it and then you plug it in you would be set.

Bump for clarification I just purchased a 2020 with advanced tech package. Backing up makes sound with the two rear sonars but front I just have the multi terrain camera

ensuring there’s no way to turn on any sounds or lines besides camera up front without going after market?

 

It's a shame as I have them on my Lexus RX350 and they work really well in tights spots
