I searched here and on YOUTUBE University regarding removal of the front fender liner. I got hit in a parking lot the other day (no one left a note!) and have minor damage to fender. It was simply pushed in on a small area without paint damage. I tried using a plunger to pull the dent, but no luck. I am looking to remove the liner and push out from the back side.
Any suggestion on how to remove?
    Thanks

There are just a bunch of clips holding it in place.

And they’re a pain in the neck to get out without breaking them. They cost like $4 each so go easy. I used needle nose pliers to compress the tabs an work em out.

A trick I figured out while working mobile on my own with no spare clips (ever) in stock on the work truck.

Pushing out most Toyota plastic clips that break easily, like Tacoma's fender flare and inner fender clips, when the back side of the panel can be reached... (a visual representation)

I use a painters 4-way tool or a dull hook blade knife. Either one will let you get around the back of the clip to get the other tab.

That tool by itself will break at least half of Tacoma inner fender clips and it will break every single fender flare clip.
