Well, I did one of those really slow motion sideways downhill wet snow slides with my 2017 TRD OR in my field last night. An unfortunately located telephone pole support cable brought the truck to a stop but I'm going to need a new passenger side front fender now. Seems like OEM is difficult to find in my area salvage yards (southwest PA/northern WV) but 3 hours away there are a couple. Not sure it's worth that drive for a truck at 107000 miles.

What's everyone's favorite OEM supplier or aftermarket fender/body part supplier or brand? I'm afraid of aftermarket body parts like this not lining up or having damage in shipment but I definitely need to fix it.

I'd go OE and I would have a reputable auto collision repair shop do the work, so the paint actually matches the rest of the vehicle.

yeah, I'm definitely all for OEM but thought maybe somebody could change my mind with something I don't know. I've used this thing like a farm truck at times so it's not perfect in many places around the body but in this case the fender is making contact with opening/closing the passenger door. Even if I put on a used OEM fender for under $300 that matches 90% and save myself the body shop charges, I'm fine with it. I used to work in a body shop many years ago as a grunt and grew up working on/rebuilding vehicles with my dad so swapping a fender is no big deal. But I'm no painter.

If you're stuck on aftermarket just make sure it's a CAPA certified. There was another certification body, but a quick Googling says they've stopped. I bought a CAPA-certified front fender for my 3rd gen and it was fine. My truck was bedlined, so I didn't care about matching paint.
