My truck just developed a squeak in the front end when turning the wheel.
It only happens when i turn the wheel to the left and close to full lock.
Will update this post with a video but was wondering if anyone had any input. I checked the power steering fluid and it seemed fine and clear. Maybe something needs grease? My trucks a 2010 trd offroad Was thinking the ball joints but i have no idea whatsoever.
    Any input is appreciated

Likely one of the upper ball joints. Mine did that at near full lock.

There's no grease zerk on the stock bj. But I used a grease injector needle. Have to puncture the boot, I chose the inside of on of the folds so it closes up. Pumped some grease in there and the squeak went away. Of course this also means the bj is on its way out. Jack up at the lower control arm to get the weight off the wheel, use a breaker bar or pry bar under the tire to lift the wheel and check for any movement in the ball joints.

Thank you. Was trying to upload the video and i can’t get it to upload.
That’s what my tech i know at toyota told me to put grease in the ball joint/tie rod socket.

Others are telling me it’s the steering rack/pinion

try one thing at a time, greasing ball joints are easiest, and see if that eliminates it, if not, move on from there

grease, not spray lube and get a needle tip for your grease gun, "inject" the grease into the boot, and if youre picky, silicone the poke hole and call it good

Check your tie rods too. Had this happen last year only when turning.

I replaced the outer tie rod on passenger side. I also thought it was joints needing greasing but the squeak was ongoing. The tie rods were worn out and bent where it attaches to the knuckles.
