    6 " BDS Lift with 35's
Hi Folks,I'm new to this Forum but came here to ask for advice.I have a 2017 Off Road with a 6"BDS Lift (with Fox Coilovers and Shocks) 35-12.5-20 Tires and SPC upper Control arms Since installing the lift I have been chasing tire wear problems even though after 5 allignments it shows green in specs I am not a serious offroader so the truck is mostly road driven. Also, the front end has had continuous problems and after 2 years since lift install the upper control arm bushings,(both sides),Lower ball joints, wheel bearing and aftermarket swaybar links are worn out .Can anyone please recommend heavier aftermarket components that will hold up to the demands that this lift and larger wheels puts on the front end.Thank you so much.

I would ditch the SPC upper control arms, as I feel they are too weak for a 6 inch lift. There are much better options out there, but to be honest you are always going to be dealing with this on a 6inch lift. I am a firm believer that Toyotas in general just don't do well when lifted especially past 3 inches. Even though I have a 3 inch lift I will probably never go past that and will still have to deal with the occasional suspension component failing abnormally.
4Runners are the same way. We want to believe these Toyotas are beasts when lifted just based on the typical Instagram "Overland" Influencers, but real life proves differently. I've been through the same thing when I had my 4 Runner.

A 6 inch lift is tough on most trucks, it's not just a Tacoma thing. Looks great I will admit, but it comes with a sack of demons.

Everyone posting please keep in mind that a 6” BDS lift is a drop bracket lift that basically maintains the IFS’s stock orientation. I’m simplifying, because generally the spindle length is increased and that might affect the path the wheel takes.

    Drop brackets bend.
Might want to rethink that and do some more research.
    Check out JD Fabrication.
    Good luck with your truck.
