Thinking of removing my plastic front air dam, as I think the truck would look better!

You will loose 1 mpg. You will gain a taller look on the front.

But it won't function better if the truck is left all stock.....you'll lose about 1 mpg and have more wind noise. Such a price for looking better.

I got rid of mine a few months ago. Didn't notice any MPG difference or any more wind noise, and it looks 100% better. Plus, it let me add the TRD skid plate.

Thats because the loss of 1mpg, and excessive wind noise the fake hood scoop already makes.

Mines been collecting dust in my garage for a few years. One of these days I'm going to make a craft project out of it. Maybe it'll make a kitchen backsplash, or a planter, or maybe I'll use it to patch up my rain gutters. What it won't do is ever disgrace my truck with its foul presence again.

You will void your warranty! It holds the Kanuter valve in place.

First thing I did to my truck was take the air dam off. I didn’t have any extra wind noise and I also did not experience any drop in MPGs. Looks much better in my opinion.

They say you lose mpg, but the Off Road has the same est. mileage as the Sport.

I didn't loose any mpgs, I seriously don't think you will even notice a difference. Hell even driving it hard a few times is worse on the fuel economy than that ugly pos plastic chin spoiler. Plus it looks better! Throw that shit away!

    Oh look, another mod....
After reading all these comments, I have decided to ADD a front air dam to my truck.

Haters, I am putting you on notice!

Bonus points if you can get a front air dam attached to your front air dam lol

Then you added those silly nipple rings and undid all the aesthetic improvement.
