Posted asking about these LCA’s in another forum and there was no response. I was on the fence and just went with it. I was told Hard Race is the supplier for bushings and ball joints.

Delivery took just over 3 business days to get to my place in Canada. I didn’t have to pay brokerage or additional taxes, so was surprised. May still get dinged.

Even with the crap Canadian dollar, these were $300.00 cheaper than OEM after taxes and shipping. Not much more than the Beck & Arnley I priced out on Rock Auto.

Will see if it was worth it to go with them or not. 4 Cam bolts came standard. Seem beefy and decently made.

I would not use those style cam bolts. They suck and slip, the bolt rounding the hole very easily

Can you elaborate more on this? As in what experiences have you seen 1st hand or heard I guess.

I installed these for a customer and have used these arms in the past with no issues.

However, on a recent install, when my customer took it in for an alignment they made him switch the cam bolts out for SPC claiming that they couldn't get a proper alignment with the freedom ones. I thought for sure it was the garage trying to generate some money until I saw this now.

I know with the SPC and the Moog Cam bolts they are physically about 1-2mm smaller in size than stock as I have put a caliper on them.

But the Freedom Offroads seem to be about the same size as the stock ones. Maybe the shape is more round than a camber shape?

I have a set at home that I will have to compare now.

Those are generic cam bolts with sleeves
Compare them to oem ones and it’s immediately apparent why oem ones are better
Just look at how little area is stopping that bolt from rotating

and yes, I have had that style round out

Thanks for the input. Been a long winter and I haven’t installed these yet. So, I will get an order in for the oem cam bolts that I assume line right up with these control arms. I don’t do any serious off roading but want a proper alignment and if these are going to ovalize, then it’s a no go.

I would replace the BJ’s. I got Dorman LCA’s and BJ’s were loose as a goose in less then 2K miles. I feel the bushings starting to go but they could be the UPA’s which are still OEM’s.

Do you have any updates on how they’re holding up? Deciding whether to get these or rebuild my OEs.

Hey, they aren’t on yet, so it will be awhile. Been a big delay in getting things done on my truck. The Freedom Off Road UCA’s seem to get good reviews, so hopefully these do ok.
