Truck has the Fox coilover shocks with high and low speed adjustment knobs (Gold and Blue Knobs), however I can not get them to turn. Shocks are new and I have called fox leaving a message. Anyone else experience this?

If so what is the fix?

Nope, the truck is on the ground. Only to adjust the spring I'd jack it up

I mean maybe give that a whirl. Not sure if it'll help but worth a shot, maybe without pressure you'll get the initial movement easier

Stupid question but you tried turning both ways? None of the 4 knobs will move? Mine are tight but not that tight. Maybe @AccuTune Offroad can help.

Definitely need to alleviate tension on the spring if possible by having it in the air. Might need some penetrating spray to get in there too. If you're going up, there might be junk up inside the threads already preventing it from spinning.

Edit: thought he was talking about the spring seat, didn't notice it was about the adjusters sorry

I think he means the DSC adjustment knobs won't turn, not the spring collar.

is this about adjusting the collars with the spanner wrenches or is this about adjusting the rebound and compression dials??

Like mentioned above, try turning it both ways. When we ship out shocks, we have the adjusters all the way open after revalving them.

Relieving tension from springs has nothing to do with the DSC

Strictly talking about the DSC adjustments. I've tried turning the Big blue knob both ways with no luck.

When talking to AccuTune over the phone they recommended removing the knobs. After taking the adjusters off there are 3 balls all spring loaded in a vey simple configuration. Removing the detents and replacing the adjuster knob the adjuster still will not move.

Called Fox and sent an email since that was the only means of response. Fox indicated they must have been installed incorrectly and I would need to pay for service for brand new shocks. Spending $2K and having a company say I must pay them more for their failed product does not sit well. I will follow up tomorrow with Fox.

Hopefully accutune can help you out w/o going through fox.

Gotta say though, I see way too many issues w/ these FOX shocks given the price. Haven't had any serious issues with mine yet, but I'm staying away from FOX in the future.

vendors should take responsibility for a defected product, if that were the case, i know its not there fault, but customers need replacements, we cant take the shocks off and send back to manufacture while our trucks sit in garage on jack stands , im having issues with mine, and was told to contact Fox. i just bought them.. lesson learned..

Fernando Ramirez (Service Supervisor – Offroad Division) offered that I can pay for return shipping and service of their 2 month old shocks where the adjuster knobs did not turn from the factory. When any company is not willing to support their own product, why should the marketplace support them?

Shocks will be returned and replaced where the manufacture stands behind their product.

I had that one some kings and moved it back nd forth and eventually took a pipe wrench pliers to get a better grip and it moved. I think the dirt and grime get sin there if they are never adjusted or have not been in awhile.

I used the a punch in the dowel holes and got it to spin.. problem is now they just keep spinning.. they still click but I can rotate them either direction without ever hitting a stop at either end. Low speed adjuster still works properly but I think my high speed is fucked now. Sweet.

My shocks had 200 miles on them before I decided to adjust them. I contacted accutune and was told to buy an adjuster tool and to take them apart to clean gunk out of
New coil overs . .......that at this point have only been on the street. The tool. Is called
    FOX DSC ADJUSTMENT HELPER KNOB

seems to me like this is a pretty common issue at this point. Surprised FOX hasnt said anything about it
