Anyone get their foxes with DSC? If so, how do you like them and are they worth it?

I'm thinking about getting kings, but the Fox DSC seems very promising.

I got them!! Like them a lot, with that being said, the 600lb spring may not be enough for those with weight or looking to get a full 3 inch of lift without lots if preload. I'm going to replace coils with eibach 14 inch 650lbs, and hopefully have them revavled as well at some point. I think I'll end up really happy, but I think any big three are great. Sometimes I wish I would have gone with ads though.just my thoughts.

Have never experienced Kings, but pretty much everyone seems to really like them!!

Is it true they only make the shocks stiffer though? I have heard that the soft setting is like a shock without them, so every click from there is only stiffer even though it has soft and hard settings.

I believe this is true. Though it would be no be nice to adjust them for whatever armor you add on in the future

Well I researched a little more and they control high and low speed compression. Unlike icons that are just hard or soft. But unless you order from somewhere like accutune they come as full soft is a stock coilover with no dsc and every click is “harder”. With accutune they can set the stock to the middle setting so you can go either softer or harder.

That's really good to know. i don't see myself making a shock stiffer unless they're way too soft.

I just bought a used set of front 2.5s with resi and DSC and rear 2.0 with the same. The rears need a rebuild anyways so I may have accutune do it and revalve at the same time. Then when the fronts need it I will do the same. Although most people are saying these shocks are too soft anyways and they welcome making them stiffer.

I got the DSC and love them. They give some good adjustment to go from street to trail.
You still have to get the shocks valved to your liking and the adjusters really let you fine tune..
If your're running all day you can tighten them up to compensate for the heat and back them down when your shocks cool down..
You can adjust for how hard you want to run...

The shocks come soft so you will need to revalve for off roading, rides like a Cadillac but, too soft and bouncy for off roading. Up about 2-3 steps in the front 1 or 2 steps in the back.
I have mine revalved, I have to go stiffer in the front and the rear is about perfect. With the adjusters I can go from too soft to too stiff in the rear. Perfect for off road a little tight on the street. The front I still max out and need more...

If you're not running dunes or heavy off roading you should get a good balance for off and on road.
For a good dune set up they will feel like sport shocks on the street.
