    ****SOLD*****

$15,000, offer considered, Four Wheel Camper, 2001 Eagle model with updates. Location is SF Bay near Berkeley. Clean, well-maintained, stored indoors, pictures upon request. Interior pictures will be posted around March 1st.

If you are looking specifically for a FWC Eagle, you know that the factory discontinued this model about 10 years ago as most truck manufacturers moved toward larger pickup trucks. It’s a great fit on my first generation 1998 Tacoma (which is NOT for sale). The dry-weight of the camper is 875 pounds. It will fit other trucks, big and small, but do your homework.

We had $5,000 of upgrades installed at the FWC Woodland, CA factory in 2019 (receipts available) simply because we enjoyed using the camper and wanted to keep it long-term.

    > A one-piece roof replaced the 3-panel roof along with the interior ceiling material.

    >The lift panels were upgraded to the currently-used black composite boards and replaced the thinner wood panels which tend to bow over time.

    >The pressurized lift struts were also installed at the same time,

    >A new Fantastic fan replaced the original plus install a roof vent over the sleeping area.

    >New curtains

In addition, as a preventative measure we separately purchased and installed the upgraded FWC hold-down brackets which replaced the old elevator eye-bolts. This is the same type of reinforced tie-down anchors used on all new FWC’s.

The original interior has the kitchen galley on the driver’s side, and the other side has a pull-out couch.

    > 3-way refrigerator (propane, DC 12v and AC 120v), which replaced ice box by prior owner around 2014

    > Two-burner propane stove

    > Propane gas furnace

    > Sink and countertop with storage compartments

    > Queen-size bed in the cab-over area when the bed platform is extended.

    >Propane 20LB capacity tank

    Included Extras:

    >Awning, good condition

    >Four Rieco-Titan mechanical jacks ($1,000 if purchased new)

We powered the camper from an auxiliary battery mounted in the truck. Our style of camping and power demands are pretty low as we use the refrig on propane when camping. The camper uses a 3-prong Atwood connector for an electrical connection to the truck.

We are the 3rd owners. Stored indoors when not being used (we camp about 10-20 nights per year). The prior owner kept it under a driveway carport awning.

The gray-colored pop-up rubberized fabric is original with no rips or tears and is in good condition because of regular treatments with 303, proper storage, and cleaning.

The interior bed and couch fabric is in very good condition

Nice looking camper. I wish I lived closer to take a better look. GLWS.

If you are looking specifically for a used Four Wheel Camper (and Eagle in particular), then many people end of looking and potentially buying from distant locations simply because of lack of broad availability. Good condition specimens located close to you might be hard to find unless the stars are aligned and you luck out. Just depends on your timing and how serious you are looking.

Approximately 6-feet. I'll measure it later this week and confirm.
