Salex glovebox/console organizers, Philips H4 MotoVision headlight bulbs, Optilux H10 Extreme Yellow XY foglight bulbs, csjumper2003 LED domelight & license plate bulbs
    Stock foglights are just fine.

I can't speak for aftermarket LED fog lights but the ones I see on Tacomas around here are annoying as hell, as in they're blinding oncoming traffic and rearview mirrors. Fog lights are supposed to complement the headlights, not act as a second pair of headlights or as a replacement for headlights. So if you go that route, please aim them accordingly.

How much fog/inclement weather do you actually drive in? Do you use your fog lamps all the time (e.g. even in the clear & dry), or only in foggy/inclement weather conditions?

Answering those questions will determine if you want fog lamps, or if you're looking for driving lamps. There is a difference, and it does matter when it comes to being able to safely see at night (not just the perception of better visibility).

Wasn’t really asking about stock vs aftermarket.........
If you have “issues” concerning “annoying as hell” aftermarket LED fog lights......start your own thread complaining about that........

Stop being petulant. You asked for recommendations, he gave his ("please aim them accordingly"). If you're going to be this easily triggered just because his opinions don't align with yours, perhaps the internet isn't for you.

I asked a couple legitimate questions, in an attempt to help you. If you cannot be bothered to respond, then here's a couple links that might quell your search for fog lamp advice:

He's correct though. Lots of people jam all sorts of pod lights in there and run them full time, which is discourteous and illegal. You say you're only driving on the road, but neither of the brands you mentioned are street legal or even really that useful on the road or in inclement weather. You're doing yourself and others a disservice.

Look in the 2 threads mentioned above (fog and driving lights). For fogs, the Diode Dynamics SS3 are the top recommendations and are each competitively priced at their given power levels (sport, pro, and max).

The first thing I would recommend is reading this post to see what "fog" pattern lighting really is as compared to other beam patterns. Most folks don't even know there's a difference.

Automotive Lighting 101 | Tacoma World

Once you understand what the different beam patterns are and do, you can make a much more informed decision as to what to shop for. For instance, if you want long distance projection, you don't want a fog light. If you want to run them all the time, you don't want a driving light. Get my drift?

I want annoying as hell ass lights and I want them cheap!

    :jerkoff:

Just get HID's and pop them right into the stock housing's intended for reflector style lamps and you'll achieve all your goals OP.

    Hmm . . . none as yet, that's why i'm here . . .
Depending where you are located, if you drive in snow conditions stay with non led bulbs as they do not freeze over and are more than adequate with a higher wattage bulb, make sure they are yellow/amber

    Thanks for the info......

as to “get off my lawn” guy......he should have just stopped at “I can’t speak to aftermarket LED fog lights”.....

the aiming fog lights correctly applies to ALL fog lights....

Actually, correct aim is important to all automotive lighting.

His point was being that a lot of the LED pod lights can't be aimed correctly. They scatter light in a cone, unless you have them aiming directly at the ground they're going to be sending light where it shouldn't be going; straight into the eyes of other drivers.

He's not being a dick by trying to educate you, but you are making it clear that you're just an inconsiderate person.

LED bulbs in halogen housings aren't really great choices anyway. For the price of most of them you're almost at the price of the SS3 Sport.

And the pro and max level SS3 fog lights run warmly enough to shed snow.

That's really none of your business.
