I have their Super 50 series on my 2017. It's very mild in the cab while cruising. Has a decent tone on the outside while accelerating for a v6.

I have the Super 44 and it sounds beefy especially when it’s hot. Gurgles a lot when letting off the gas coasting to a stop

Not really impressive, sounds good, but there is definitely better quality i may go with down the road. Wish it was stainless

Sooooo . . . . is the performance any different, or just the sound?? Never really saw any point in bolting on shit just to make it sound different.

I had the Super44. The drone in the cabin of the access cab (known to be louder inside than the double cab) will make you grind your teeth. It lasted 3 days before I had them cut it out and install a much better Magnaflow (stainless) exhaust.

No performance gain. And there is plenty point to bolting on mods for sound. Just like we put on plenty of mods for looks. It's a truck, not a sports car or drag car.

I can't remember which Magnaflow I had installed, but sound clips are useless. They NEVER sound the same online as in person. Just go listen to some in your area and decide what you like. There are too many different recording microphones, speakers, headphones, etc. Just trust me. I could have saved myself 200 bucks.

can't comment on the Flowmaster but i have a free flow exhaust with a Spintech muffler. and yes, the difference is worth writing home about regarding performance. the muffler change was far more significant than the Y pipe, rear cat removal, and re-route. open flow is the way to go if you can tune the sound.

no, it's not. We've been down this road before. You get zero gain without a tune. zero. none. nada. zilch. It's all in your head (or butt). There's never been a real dyno prove a single HP gain from a muffler.

totally depends on multiple factors but performance is available if you know how to get it. and sorry, Dad, some kids like fun in their vehicle even if it's a truck.

you are wrong. unless you are strictly talking about a FM muffler. and I'm definitely not interested in arguing with an armchair guy taking about an exhaust he hasn't seen nor tried goodbye.

i have seen every youtube video on aftermarket exhausts. I am convinced none of them sound good on a tacoma.

poor assumption. I'm not a dad.
There are literally dozens of threads that prove me right. You don't know "how to get it". There isn't some secret. It's basic engineering.
