Figured it would be easier to add on a few more comments here rather than on the other. I will try and get some drive off clips uploaded soon. At higher RPMs there is no drone, and is fairly quiet inside of the cab. At about 1600-1700 RPMs it does have a slight hum, but only if you cruise at that RPM. I cruise 65-70 @ 2000RPM so I don't hear it but for that quick second. Sitting at idle it is pretty quiet, so you won't get dirty stares from folks sitting next to you at red lights!

It is a 2.5 inch center in, 2.5 inch center out for those wondering, it was a perfect swap. Best thing is it is relatively inexpensive so if you don't like it you can always switch to something else without breaking the bank. Took the shop about 30 minutes once it was on the lift, including welding on the tip.

Not really a fan. I think the stock exhaust note sounds decent enough on its own.

I like the sweet Notes!, Would they make a unit similar to this to fit my 2011?, and what should one be paying dollar wise for this part? Thanks reeg52

thanks man. I think the shop ordered a 2.25. Any idea if expanding it a bit will hurt
anything if they had to make it 2.5?

I have an '08. I had a 40 series put on the first week I owned it ran it for years without issue. It was very rusty on the outside but I live in a heavily road salted area. Never a problem with it. Now I have a 10 series. It's been on for about 4 years, no issues.

With additional weld points you may encounter additional rust long term, but that really depends on your location/environment. I would say you might be gaining a minor amount of back pressure back but since you will be adapting it to a 2.5 out I can't really say. Likely nothing noticeable, same as adding the muffler to begin with, no performance gain. The adapters may run 10-20 each plus additional labor to install, but if your shop messed up and ordered the wrong size they should eat that cost or order you the correct size.

I keep going back and forth on it, I just can't decide and I have an
appt. today at 8am. Just may put it off and wait the way I'm flip-flopping
    on it.
