Where can I find a replacement? OEM? DIY? Member made? I'm tired of my drivers side slipping and sliding.

You’re just missing the part that hooks to the floor? Bet you could make something to work.

    I just made one.

The OEM replacement part, IF it's even available any more, is probably $30+.

If you have enough of the plastic hook left (mine broke off where it pops into the hole in the floor), I just drilled a whole in the end of it, and drilled a hole the rest of the way through the floor. Obviously seal the hole with silicone, but it's been working that way for like a decade.

It comes with one from the factory.

If that's the one you lost, just use the Weathertech one; they always include a new set.

Do the WeatherTechs not come with the little spikes on the underside to keep the mat from sliding around? The Huskys do and there's no need for the holder that the OE carpet mats had to use

Mine didn't. Bought direct from Weathertech. Maybe I can get them to cough one up.

Mine did the same thing! Very annoying having the floor mat slipping all over the place since I'm constantly shifting and moving my feet.

Interesting, would've thought that they came with the grip on the back. Maybe there are different versions

I would just do like @jbrandt mentioned and make up a little hook yourself, unless you are able to come across an OEM one someone has lying around they're not using

Ahh, you might be able to find one at a junk yard or ebay or something, but I'd probably still try to make my own.

I'm thinking still a bolt that goes thru the floor, but use a small piece of metal and another bolt/nut on the other side to poke thru the floor mat.

Not sure, but I wonder if you could get a rivnut to fit in that whole in the floor as opposed to drilling thru the floor...

The original was discontinued and revised by toyota. Can't recall specifics but it was that safety issue / sliding floor mat thing. The second definitely looks like the original but the current design I believe are similar to the first with that locking tab piece.

Why I love the Husky mats. Those teeth on the bottom don't let that thing slide anywhere - no need for a retainer clip.

    EDIT: Found some images...

Yeah I like the Huskies too. Although I did cut a small X in my driver one to fit the OE placeholder through, not sure that the grip would keep them 100% in place with the constant clutch foot action. But in hindsight that was not needed.

They don't have any means of gripping a factory carpet, no. But they do come with a replacement hook/clip. At least mine did for every vehicle I bought them for.
