Fleetside/Styleside

I have a 2012 Tacoma. I'm wanting to buy a tonneau cover for it. All the ones I see for sale are for a fleetside/ Styleside box. Is this what mine is?

 

There's fleet sides (fleet vehicle) which means standard typically straight flat bed sides where the wheel humps are in the bed and the bed rails are wide as the cab.

And then

Flare/Step side meaning the wheel humps are outside the narrower bed.

The 2nd generation Tacoma was never a available with a flare side.

If what you're looking at says flare or step side and fits Tacoma you are looking at a first gen cover.

The truck you posted is fleet side.

Thank you. Finding information on my Tacoma is not very detailed. This is my 1st Toyota. I'm also a Jeep Wrangler guy and finding info on them is easy like Dana axles, what gears are in them, or what transfer case it has.

Looks like you have a very shiny regular cab long bed (RCLB) base model 6 lug.

6 lug means it’s 4x4

 

All 2nd gens are fleetside. The only opinion is 5ft (short) vs 6ft (long) bed

Pre-Runners (2wd) have 6 lug axles too, alot of the base reg cab 4 cyl trucks are 5 lug.

 

i forgot about the pre runners. Basically a4wd sans t case and such
