I am going to swap my tcase out for a manual tcase. The only issue I am getting to is what do I do about the front ADD that is electronically controlled and how do I swap it out or eliminate it completely. I'm guessing the rear locker, MTS, and Crawl Control would be fine since they only require the tcase to be in 4LO. Any info helps. Thanks in advance.

    I have a 2016 TRD Off-Road as well btw.

To eliminate use fj cruiser awd diff tube.
I used a momentary rocker switch to control.my frond add on my conversion (2nd gen).

But thats probably the least of the problems you will run into.

I never would've thought of that. But now what do I have to do to clear the PCM/ECU of the front ADD? Take it to a shop or just reprogram?

Most people add a switch but theres like three 3rd gens that are swapped, because its not really worth the effort.

I hate the the ADD in my 2 gen with a passion but there is no way it's worth the aggravation you have to go through to change it. I plow with my truck and push snow I don't try to throw snow into the woods at 30 mph so I use low range the ADD is a hateful device but I just live with it.

Yeah I get it, but I work remote and make my own hours so I have the time to kill lol. If I didn't have the time or want to I'd leave it alone
