I just found out about this camera today so I decided to come on here and see what the community was saying about it. I wanted to know if there is a car literally in front of you if you can zoom in on the video through your cell phone and read that license plate pretty good? I also wanted to know if you were out driving and there was a car may be a length or two ahead of you while you’re moving and there is some space in between you if you are still able to read their plates as well? The only reason why I’m asking all these questions because I purchased two dash cameras, one from my wife, and one for my Tacoma with front and back cameras, and I was literally parked at my daughters school, and I could not read the license plate that was parked in front of me but yeah, I could see it with my own eyes, but not through the dash cam!

It seems to me that the cameras are the same via most of these companies as well as the app. I don't like how difficult it is to view the footage. Vehicle must be running or ignition on - shut down your cellular data - go to the apps wifi - which disables other things you might want to be using. Seems very complicated to me.
I was expecting a simple BlueTooth connection. But then again - how often will I be viewing the footage. So not that big a deal.
