First 2016/2017 tacoma with a 05-15 front bumper?

Was browsing tacomas for sale while I wait for mine to be built. Saw this. First one I have seen like it. N-fab 05-15 bumper on a 3rd gen. They cut it straight across like the older toyotas. I love that, our 3rd gen bumpers and grill are so huge and ugly on our trucks that is the shape they shoulve came out of the factory. Some parts look rough on this and not perfect but oh well... Love or hate?

 

Wow.....is that really a production photo? It looks terrible and unfinished. I mean the bumper itself is ok but the fitment....eesh!

Yeap. Someone really did it! Haha... It does look very unfinished. It's because the bumper is designed for a totally different generation of tacoma. What I do love about this though is they cut if straight across taking away the HUGE bumper and grill we have. Someone has to make a proper baja bumper for these, I think companys know the design of the new 3rd gen bumpers are gross so they can't make a cool one. Its time...

 

No radiator protection, one stick would get it. Hope they didnt just carve up a $35K truck and it is a salvage title rebuild or something.

 

If you look at the body gap on the hood the passenger side is quite a bit more. Probably was crashed.

 

Not my cup of tea but to each there own. Personally I think it looks like complete crap.

 

It almost looks like they flexed the fenders out in order to tuck the bumper behind them...Oh man

 

Meh Tacoma world ppl will literally buy anything (think lower control arm skid plates). I bet there's a market for this crap. Looks horrible btw.

 

1. I think if whoever did that installed the upper part of the plastic over it wouldn't look that bad. Right now it looks like ass.

2. Just buy the all pro one. It's kind of close to that.

 

Aaaactuallly. Looking again. Have you ever seen those videos of babies in diapers at the pool? Where the diapers get super expanded because of the water. That's what that looks like.

 

I can do a better job with a stick welder, a conduit bender and my arm tied behind my

 

forgive my crappy skills..... But finished it would look something like this... I think it would look amazing.

People see that bumper on that truck and think "N Fab" is the WORST bumper company

This truck is a giant negative advertisement for there company. Id be pissed if it was my company haha

 

My first thought was that the radiator won't last a month.
