    Hey,
I spent few hours reading forums and trying to figure this out.
Looking to purchase some all terrain tires - Firestone Destination AT2 265/75/16 for my 2022 SR5 with stock wheels and no lift.
    I have Weathertech mud flaps.

    Couple of questions:
Will the above mentioned tires rub? (mud flaps concern me a bit)
    What's the potential MPG hit?

I am currently on stock all season destinations 245/75/16.
    Thanks.

I checked this link already btw, but I am concerned about rubbing due to mud flaps.

Anyone has experience with Firestone Destination AT2's?

You should be fine. 265 is a very average tire size

As noted, the 265/75R16 is a popular upside for the 3rd gen Tacoma's. In most cases you will need to modify/remove the mudflaps/air-dam as the tire will scrub at full lock turns.

Just got the Duratracs installed in the same size. No rubbing so far.

Definitely will do that. Got appointment for Friday.

I decided to go with 265/70/16 simply because I didn't want to fight Toyota if I ever needed to do warranty claim.
Currently on 245/75/16 and 265/70/16 is listed in my manual as stock even though I have SR5.

Once my warranty expires that's when the fun will start :spending:.

The only way your warranty is impacted if if they can prove the 1" larger tire was the cause of whatever the warranty issue is. I don't think they could prove a 265/75/16 caused some sort of drive train issue compared to 265/70/16.

Firestone Destination AT/2's in 265/70/16. Looks like truck got slightly lifted (half an inch or so) maybe due to the tire thread?
I'm happy. Ride is very comfortable. Not loud at all

Firestone is owned by Bridgestone now btw.

Yeah, but some people to this day refuse to buy their tires.
