Finally got it! 2021 TRD PRO, Lunar Rock!

I wasn't going to buy a new truck, but the dealer gave me an insane deal on a trade in for my 2016 SR5. So happy to finally have this toy! Rides like a cloud compared to my SR5!

 

awesome truck! congratulations. What do you think is the biggest "wow factor" compared to the SR5?

 

Honestly, it's a completely different truck. My favorite three things are the seats, the headlights, and the sun roof. Feels like going from a 99 Toyota Camry to a Lamborghini haha. The suspension is really unbelievably better, there's a bump in my neighborhood that would shake my SR5 pretty hard and this PRO just handles it like its a crack in the ground, haha. I even upgraded my SR5 with fox 2.0's and they're nothing in comparison to these 2.5's I guess! Well worth the upgrade!

Not at all! I bought my SR5 for 31k 5 years ago and put 79,000 miles on it. I upgraded just the suspension on it to the fox 2.0's (only cost about $1000) and they gave me 29k on a trade in! They have my SR5 on the lot now listed at 35k!!!! LOL I guess this shortage is really creating a supply and demand situation.

I don't think I'm going to do too many mods to it other than tires and front window tint and maybe some sliders. Although, the stock tires are pretty good! whenever I get to 30k-40k miles I'll put some Ko2's on because I had them on my SR5 and they look so good!

 

way better than that 2022 lime green imo! Although I'm jealous of those new control arms!

 

Agree here, on way better than the lime on the 2022's. Just not as good as AG on the 2020's.

 

Good trade in value. How was the price on the Pro?

 

I wanted to Army Green so badly actually. I was looking at an off-road army green with the tech package (leather seats, sunroof, whole sheibang) but they wanted 44k for it! I got to thinking about it and the pro version was only 4k more with so much more. I decided to just get this instead, but I wanted that army green so badly! I wish they would continue their limited colors after its been released for the specific years. Marketing though :/

 

$48,804 out the door. My sister lives in CA and they're going for 60k out there! If they were easier to get I would just keep flipping them. maybe one day!

Yeah when they told me how much they were giving me for my SR5 I literally had to hold back the laughter. Probably the one time in my life where it felt like I won at the dealership haha.

when I've checked, and just did again after reading this mine is at 30K for trade in - loaded 2016 4x4 sport with 47k

 

Join the pro club!!!! you could probably private list it for 34k-35k EASY!
