I have a TRD Sport and like the look of the flares that are on the Off Road and Pro version. Has anyone painted their flares to match the black matte? Would a body shop do this? Thanks

You can just buy a set of Off-Road fender flares. They’re not painted, so going to a paint shop won’t solve what you’re looking to do. Although, a set of smooth painted black or dark grey flares sounds pretty sick. Keep in mind the plastic material Toyota uses for the TRD off-road and Pro fades over time, so they’ll eventually end up turning light grey / white haze.

Or you can go next level and have a wrap shop do the camo dark wrap thats on the new TRD Pros and beat the rush.

    Basically a dark digital camo.

    Would look bad ass.

These wont be compatible from the tundra or new tacoma obviously, but going for the look would be awesome.

You can also buy aftermarket ones from carparts.com. They look and fit exactly the same but they are a lot cheaper.

My truck bed got crushed my a tree. I found a used bed. I had to do an over 12 hour round trip to get it. But the fender flares got scraped on the ride back home. It was my neglance. I should have put pool noodles or something on my trailer. I'd like to fix the paint or replace them. I'm not a fan of most after market fender flares. I have very little faith in my paining abbilities. So I wanted to ask has someone tried to put third get flares on a second gen?
