Totally underrated bottle. I’d love to get my county to do a barrel pick.

My wife and I thought the Rio was terrible. Way too sweet and not in a yummy way. Sickly sweet. Planning to sell my open bottle.

    Cheers, that’s a good one!

I have 5 more, from 4 other barrel picks, totaling 7. I stopped there. My county and the neighboring county seem to do one with 4R every year and I'm eternally glad about it.

I normally stick to KSBW because there are soooo many of them and it's hard to pick a bad one.

Got home from a Business Trip and the wife had surprised me with Smoke Wagon. It's a Straight Bourbon Whiskey out of Nevada.

I'm sure she would have loved to have spent father's day in line at the 4 Roses gift shop hours away from home

I backed to back the 13th colony Rye/Bourbon/Cask strength bourbon yesterday. I hate to say this, but the Bourbon wins. I'm surprised that the cask strength just didn't bring the extra flavor with the increase in proof. For the money @ $107, I'd buy another rye, and bourbon @$44 each, and scratch up some couch change to score another bottle of Green River Wheated @$33.

A store down in Ft Walton has a Private Barrel of Smoke Wagon for $89. I’ve been been mulling over whether I should go back to buy a bottle of that or that bottle of 10yr Wheated Old Elk for $120 assuming it’s still there.:notsure:

I personally have never been in love with smoke wagon. Private barrels here always sit for a long time

Ah ok, I know Niceville, years ago I did some initial flight training at Eglin in a Cessna.

There’s a very nice four roses pick at a store in the Pensacola area, let me know if you’d like the details.

Twenty years ago it was in fact, nice. Easygoing little town not far from the beaches.
