I have these quick-release battery clamps (from MTA) that will be installed when I get around to do some wiring projects currently being laid out.

Didn't have the best fit on the negative terminal so I had to use both copper shims to make it fit, but otherwise they've been really good.

I got the SDHQ's love them, very solid product with the biggest benefit of them easily being able to connect the +Pos wire for my winch without taking loose anything else.

Plus with them being billet from good quality aluminum you don't have to worry about them snapping or deforming from being taken on and off frequently. With that said all the wires are bolted to the terminal so you could unbolt the connections instead of pulling the terminal if you had to.

They pair quite nicely with a good big 3(5) upgrade!

I got them about a year and a half ago, just before the price literally doubled, and glad I did! I'm very happy to have them on my rig but I probably wouldn't pay $150 for them, probably...

    These always caused me headache.

Probably great on a street car but if you like 'froadin' they seem to hold sand mud moisture and the salts and elements suspended in such and rapidly accelerate battery corrosion.

Didn't have corrosion, put them on posts started to snowball removed them no problems since.

    YMMV.

No, I don't. In fact I don't use them anymore because they kept working themselves loose from the battery terminals.

Did you have to cut your negative leads to your oem post clamp and attach lugs? I just checked my taco and the negative leads are integral to the clamp. Positive lead is a lug.

Correct, I cut it off and crimped a heavy lug onto the ground cable

I was sorely tempted to order the knock-offs from Bezos, but couldn’t find any that were comparable material. Lots of decent looking aluminum products, particularly one from Moroso. Lots of Amazon bad reviews about really poor conductivity on those however. Ended up ordering this kit even though it’ll probably be 3X the knock-off price after shipping.

    These were really tempting.

Been trying to find decent battery terminals to add wiring to, those look the most promising to so far.

The military are nice but these have the top bolts as well, allowing more options.
Not a fan of the set screw type, but maybe with a ferrule on the cable ends.

I went with the military style. Should have spent a little more time looking at my stock cable setup. The morosos would probably have been better. I have the ground/negative side sorted out, but need to order another terminal lug for the hot side so I can switch to the military style there too.
