    Greetings, For those of you with a 3D printer, what are your favorite prints for your vehicle?

    So far I have;

    - Switch Panel for EVC-X (Purchased)
    https://www.etsy.com/listing/1580589921/3rd-gen-tacoma-2016-23-left-side-switch?click_key=ba8eb98d5f7068000080e0f44fca0c61d3be7521:1580589921&click_sum=9403d1db&ref=shop_home_active_7&frs=1&sca=1&sts=1
    - Gas Cap Holder
    https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4908216
    I may however switch to this design;
    https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4719055
    - Hitch Cover/Cap
    https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3584002
    - Glare Blockers (TRD)
    https://www.printables.com/model/540833-3rd-gen-toyota-tacoma-glare-blockers

    Considerations;
    - BSS Panel
    https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5504923
    I'm not at the electrical stage of my build just yet, but I've been uncertain whether I'd want to get an aluminum tray opposed to a printed one or if I'd go with BSS, switch pro or auxbeam.
    - Extended Fuse Cover
    https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4078874
    I opted to get the Meso Customs V2 instead as I liked the integrated fuse and puller storage as well as the ability to retain the original cap for quick reference.

    add a usb module above your head unit if you use gps or gopros keeps the cords from bouncing against the screen and being mistaken for a touch event. its really annoying when you hit a bump and you hear a beep from the screen and the radio turns on full blast, or the map moves as the cable drags across the screen side to side.

    molle panels are easy 3d printing projects to snap or lace together
    external switch panels, antenna brackets in ABS. etc etc

    I 3D printed this switch holder with a two piece design to make a better print. It’s been in the truck 4 years now.

    Oh and I also 3D printed these shifter switches. Each side is wired to control the ground wire for the relays on each of my ditch lights.

    One other option would be to print the entire face as a flat surface and then use heat to bend it, so that it has a nice surface throughout.

    Before i had a 3d printer i thought the prices were a little high.
    After:: If someone has a print already dialed in, pay them to do it or plan to spend a lot of time with multiple prints as you tweak things;
    or print one and look at it like your 3rd kid ("close enough") and slap it in there.

    Takes a lot of time to model something out in CAD, prototype it, trial and error and then get things just right. Design aside most people don't know until they've interacted with a 3d printer that there's farrrr more involved then loading filament and clicking print. 3d printing is an exercise in patience and detail orientation.

    Yeah I noticed that after taking the photo, I had knocked the clip out of place when I was crawled underneath the dash routing the throttle controller cable. Trying to use zip ties one handed in close quarters was fun.
