I recently replaced the fan clutch on my first GEN with some thing from O’Reilly‘s auto parts. I only did that because I needed it right then and plan on replacing it with OEM but now I’m wondering if I should just rebuild the one I took off of it? Any of you guys rebuild them

Some did one years ago more to say I rebuilt this.

Pretty much removing the old fluid and getting new in

Not sure how many trials till one kinda worked

Till your done more expensive then just buying one.

You have the old one try it one of the hard parts is getting it balanced again.

unless some one made a easy removal plug dump the old oil out pour the new in

I used to know what oil but it slips me mind

Go to your local hobby shop & get shock adsorber oil for that goes in the radio controlled cars. It comes in different viscositys. I did this in my 4runner fan clutch.
