    You guys build way bigger towns than me lol. I usually setup a bar, junk shop, and medic shop. With that setup I rarely had that many caps to collect.

    I know there are mods that will remove the settlement build limit, but I'm shying away from them for the time being. I'm a bit nervous about their effect on the game's stability.

    I try to use the buildings I craft for the settlers as part of the perimeter walls , that cuts down on a lot of doubling up on items like having a scrap fence around the settlement with buildings inside the fence

    I'm debating fences this time around. I fenced in about half of my settlements last time but I never had a problem repelling raiders on the settlements without fences.
