This afternoon I jumped ship and had these Wildpeak 265/75r16 R/T01’s, E load installed. Smooth on the highway, low noise, handle good. Balanced well too with minimal weight. 51 lbs, so heavier than stock.

I haven’t seen much on these, so I’ll update this thread as I get some miles on them for anyone who may be interested.

I’m interested in how you like them. I’ve been looking at tires to replace my Grabbers eventually (same size as your Wildpeaks). I’m impressed they’re a pound lighter than my Grabbers of the same size.

Great looking tire and I'm interested to see how it performs. I'm tempted to get a set myself but in the size I'm eyeing they're 7.5lbs (14%) heavier than the A/T3W's.

Ya, I went from stock on Volks, to these on the TRD rims, so 20lbs per corner more...

I bet that MPG hit was similar to when I went from 265/75/16 all terrains to 33” mud terrains. I was extremely upset lol

You probably can on the highway if you drive with a light foot!

My Grabbers weigh 52 pounds each and I still average 22mpg on long trips.

I’m getting 17-19 with an easy foot on the freeway commuting on the 285’s and the KD Max tune. Got a consistent 20 with the Terra Grapplers I had before.

Man, my truck GUZZLES gas. 15-16mpg, maybe just barely approaching 17mpg if I'm really trying to baby it. It's hard to tell since I don't drive it regularly enough but I didn't notice a huge difference between the 3 wheel/tire setups I've had on it.

$296 a tire is WAY outside my budget.

Yikes! I need to get smaller tires. My 285 E loads were just over $400 each. LOL

Curious to get an update now that you've had the tires for awhile. How have you found them long term? I'm looking at the exact same tire/size for my TRD Pro. Any rubbing/trimming?

I have the regular wildpeak AT3w's and I think they are great tires, but I like these new RT 01 HD's a lot. And that size 265/75/16 is perfect for our Tacoma's, good luck with them.
