Hey guys, looking to get some info on premature wear for these Falken tires. I have 265/75/r16 and i run them at 35psi. tires have 25,000 miles maybe a little less. Two of the tires are already showing 3/32" on depth. The other two are at 5/32". seems to me that is very fast for the life span of the tires. What's your thoughts? I don't go off road, keep them at the correct pressure and truck goes to Toyota for regular maintenance. Anyone know if Falken would be of any help?
I don't know much about this subject so any useful information is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like they're not rotating your tires...

They are every 5000 miles. Taken to the dealer for that. The paper work says they are rotating them.

The stated mile "life span" of most tires is nowhere near what you get out of them. You are already at 25K with usuabe tread left, so not sure what you would expect Falkans to do about it. But then again, what the hell do I know.

Who did you get the tires through?

You might be able to get some warranty replacements, especially if you have dealer documented rotations.

That does seem quicker than normal. Did you get the SL rated ones? I had those as well at one point and I felt like they were wearing quick but then I blew one on a dirt road and got rid of them, lol.

"Falken back both LT and P-metric sizes of the AT3W with a 55,000-mile limited treadwear warranty."

I got them from a authorized dealer that i know personally. They seem to have worn quickly.

Doesn't always mean they do it. Even though they're all wearing down quickly, it should be more even.

I would give them a call and see what they can do for you. 25k and 3/32" is low.

2/32 deviation isn’t massive, they been rotated.

tire wear warranty is hard to claim, I’m a tech and still couldn’t claim it on a set I had. My alignment was checked yearly.

Ultimately it’s a soft all terrain, they wear quickly. It’s why I’ve gone to harder e rated all terrains for summer and a dedicated soft set for winter now.

    damn man :( big sad...
Thats way too fast to have to replace. I've had this set of ridge grapps on for 60k miles, probly got another 30k till I hit the wear bars, but I doubt I'll take them that far. Good luck, I'd definitely want them replaced.

Definitely unfortunate, 25k and mount in January of 2022. Just see way to fast, especially having the rotation and proper pressure.

This isn't necessarily why the tires wore out so early, but they should have been aired up to 27 psi, not 35. That might have made a difference.

I'd imagine that they can be prorated being they worn out prior to the milage warranty. Contact your tire shop on it
