Factory window tint % - HELP

Hello everyone,
I just picked up a 2023 SR5 and wanted to know what the factory window tint percentage is on the back windows? I plan on tinting the two front widows and want it to match the back.

I just went to the tint shop and had them match as close they could

 

20% on the fronts seems to match the rears pretty well.

The rear privacy glass is about 26%.

That's not very dark and CIR tint has great clarity, so I had my guy throw 20% all over all the glass with 70% on the full shield. Looks great and there's a color shift to the rear so cops won't give you trouble even with the front darker than legal here.

 

I went with 20% on the front and that matched the back good enough for me.

 

Just have the tint shop use their meter to see what % it rings out to and they can try to match it.

 

20% or 35% will work fine. I had 35% on the front windows on mine and it wasn't obvious that the rears were a little darker.

 

Rear windows are 20% dye I believe

 

I also did 20% on the fronts to match the rears

 

My tint shop put on 20%.

 

I pretty much did what most folks here have done, I told my local tint shop to match the rear windows on my '22 and they did it without even thinking about it. Very easy!
