The previous owner of my DCSB had installed a BakFlip MX4, which I love, but he never relocated the bed rails. He had the rails, themselves, but had lost the screws to mount them, so I've been trying to find the factory screws (or at least the part number) to mount the rails. Haven't seen any 2nd or 3rd Gens in the area pick and pulls, either.
Dealership couldn't locate a number for just the screws, so if anyone has any suggestions, I'd be grateful, Thanks!

I think the Toyota part number is 90148-A0006, you need five per rail. These are the same fasteners as the ones used to attach the bed box and outlet so you could pull one of those to test before you buy them.

That being said... as long as the thread and length are right and the head doesn't interfere with the rail operation you will be good to go.

I'd reach out to Bakflip if I were you, their bolts to mount to the lower height were a different length to the original bolts. Do you have the bracket that allows you to relocate the bedrail an inch lower?

The bolt size is correctly listed above, M6 x 1.0, just add the needed length.

Bakflip uses longer screws with their covers. The oem ones are too short to mount the factory rails.

The T30’s are longer for the MX4 bracket to the bed, but the T30’s used to relocate the factory rails to the MX4 bracket are shorter than the OEM bed rail T30’s. That is if he is going to mount the bed rails to the MX4 brackets and not remove the MX4.

    Thanks for the help, folks.
Yes, the brackets are in place, as part of the BakFlip installation, and as I understand it, you were supposed to reuse the factory bolts to mount the rails to the brackets.
    I've found a couple of possibilities on Amazon, using the M6 x 1 - 25mm measure.

I'll have to measure, but I can't see an issue reusing the factory bolts.

I installed my MX4 just under a month ago, the set came with new bolts for both the install of the cover to the brackets and the bed rails to the brackets. There was also a little note that says you can throw away the original screws. Pretty sure as noted above, the ones that install the bed rail to the bracket were shorter than the OEM bolts.

That sounds about right. It's been a month or so since I installed my X4S.
