I have ordered a number of items from extremeterrain without issues in the past. Customer service is helpful on the phone and easy to reach. I've only had issue this last order. First time dealing with Rough Country.

ExT: Ordered a tonneau from Extremeterrain.com for my 2020 DCLB OR. Box was held closed by only one single piece of shipping tape. I didn't look to make sure everything was in it as we were heading out of town right as it was delivered, my fault. Was missing all of the hardware, clamps and everything missing. By the time I got back from the trip, and then got around to trying to install it, it was too late to return or have hardware shipped from them. Again, my fault for not looking sooner. They gave me a 10% off of the winch I was buying from them anyway, so while it doesn't solve the problem of the poorly packaged item at least its something. They told me to call rough country directly and gave me the RC part number.

RC: I called directly via the number I got when I told them the situation on their website chat option. Immediately got a rep, no run around which is great. Told them the situation, he couldnt find my order as it shipped directly from ExT. Without even asking he sent me a complete hardware set for my tonneau no charge. I am surprised at how easy RC was to deal with and they didnt even ask any more questions, just fixed the issue.

Both companies have great customer service, easy to reach, and are very helpful. While not a direct TW vendor they offer a lot of Taco products.

I think we must be living in some type of dystopian clown world where we are shocked when we actually manage to get in touch with somebody over a customer service issue and it is dealt with promptly and correctly.

so much so that I needed to tell everyone about it.
Truth is most places and most people suck.
