i have a prinsu cab rack, and a hard shell RTT. I took my ARE shell off, because it’s not the best set up for aggressive trails like I experienced in MOAB and Colorado. I got a lot of shifting and moving of the shell on the bed. I’m looking for a bed rack that is tall enough to put the Roof Nest an inch or two higher than the prinsu, while retaining the roll up bed cover. Closet thing I’ve found is the @Dissent86 rack. Is this something unheard of? Leaning towards building my own, all the tools are in the shop... just lacking the follow through I guess. Any ideas?

I decided to leave the canopy on and install an over the canopy rack, the RTT weighs 230 lbs it's a heavy monster of a tent. These are pictures of it on the road but she gets rallied hard offroad. Fully adjustable and tough as f#ck. Adaptor plates and cutting into to lip of my canopy was neccessary but worth it to have dry secure gear. 20190422_210910.jpg
As you can see it has a good amount of adjustment I am on the 2nd level hole. No regrets, it's a tradesman design which is meant to hold 600 lbs of material dynamic. One catch they sell it in Canada.

I am up to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia a bit. Does Westcan have a dealer network? And I have looked, but can't find pricing. If you don't mind me asking, what does those over canopy racks run?

I would call North Shore Off Road 1-800-624-2468, website is www.nsor.com/ but it's not on their website. I'm in British Columbia so I only know the people I deal with. Great product about $250 for the adaptor plates and 900-1100 for the rack depending on the tariffs and exchange. Good luck.

I'd look to @SOS CONCEPTS. I have his bedrack and it's wonderful. He makes a tall one that goes around softoppers that might meet your needs, and he will modify as needed.
