My Icon stage 8 has the extended 2.5"coilovers and 2.5" rxt rear shocks / rxt leafs at option 2. About 2" of lift front /back. Hub to fender front 22"... 24" in back. I do have a 1 1/2" spacer raising up the rear lines off the axle from a previous lift. Stock bump stops. Think i need to go with extended front and back brake lines with this set up? Is there a way to tell in my garage? Thanks in advance.

The front, do not use the LCA for support use the frame. When suspension is in the droop position look at the lines. They need a few inches in slack

You should not need them up front (I didn't with my 2" front lift but bought them with my lift so installed them anyway). If you have extended droop travel with your rear lift though you should grab extended rears. I put Icon RXT @ option 1 (~1.8-2" lift) and went with a 3" extended rear line. Installing the rear lines sucks but it's better than making it the limiting factor of your rear travel.

To get to full droop in the rear on one side you have to raise the opposite side up correct? Would raising both sides up equally extend the lines enough.... mainly do light offroad (fire trails/blm gravel/dirt roads. etc.)

Did your 2" front lift have extended droop travel shocks?

Should be + I'm not running a sway bar. They're extended travel ADS 2.5's. The way the front suspension is designed though extended lines are usually not needed unless you go LT. I did not know this when I ordered them (truck was on order from Toyota still).

Here is my front setup with 2" extended lines at full droop before removing the sway. Had more than enough length with the stock line - I only installed them because I already had them, but they were not necessary. Will probably eventually order stock length lines from Crown as these are too long but they don't seem to be causing any problems so not an immediate need.

For comparison here's +1 extended lines on the front of mine. I don't think you really need them either, I just did it because I was already doing a full big brake swap and wanted everything at once to be done with it.

Headstrong's +1 front / +4 rear kit is made by Crown and probably everything you'd ever need unless you go LT. Relatively affordable and excellent quality.

I'm likely going to be doing my rears(24") this weekend. What sort of issues did you run into during the install?

Unless you have a lift or can get it jacked up on stands really high, ergonomically speaking it's a son-of-a-gun to get up in there. Need to be a contortionist to some degree but that's all. You'll need to drop the spare tire to get at it. Don't forget to bleed the brakes when done.

Gotcha, I have a 2post lift at my work as well as large stands at the house, so wherever I do it will be fine as far as droop goes. Spare is already pulled. Looking at it seems pretty straightforward, but I didn't know if there were any tricks or anything I should have an eye out for. I will be flushing the brake system, so everything will be bled.

Just not the easiest place to reach and not enough room to fit a proper flare nut wrench to tighten the lines. Had to go back and retighten a few times until it stopped leaking.

Also on the 2021 offroad (possibly others as well) you cannot bleed the rear brakes unless the truck is in the ON mode (does not need engine on, but systems) as the rear brakes have an electronic helper thing and no fluid would come out with the truck fully off. But they bleed super fast after you figure that out.

Would getting it up on jack stands in the garage be enough to check line lengths in back?

If you put the jack stands on the frame so the axle can freely hang it would - tho my 24" jack isnt tall enough to do this with my RXT's. Stock your length will be fine. With a 1" block in the rear you will be fine. But if you increase downtravel via a replacement leaf pack, the stock lines quickly run out of real estate. Without trying to make this excessively difficult.. unless you're going LT adding a 3" line should be sufficient in the rear for most replacement leaf packs. If you go super bro status and put like a 6" lift, then you'll need to adjust accordingly - though I would hope a kit that tall would come with them.
