I have not had the exceed but I did have the Solid Fold 1.0 on my Ram. I loved it and was going to get one for the Tacoma and found out they went to plastic and there were complaints of sagging over time. Too bad as the 1.0 was honeycomb aluminum and was super easy to install and remove and very durable.

Not sure if you watched this review from Etrailer:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCDqnH6Eetg&ab_channel=etrailer.com

Looks similar to the LoMax or BakFlip. Good luck with your decision and keep us posted what you end up going with. Not sure why you cant just play the video direct but it is on YouTube.

I bought my Extang Exceed a year and a half ago. I love the look.

However, my first one lasted about a year and then started to wrinkle and pull up in the right forward corner because it wasn’t properly secured during manufacturing. The good news was Extang replaced the entire system under warranty and shipped it out free of charge. So they back their product. If you buy one be sure to keep your receipt and the UPC code on the box.

@AjaxTaco How is the cover holding up? I'm looking at this one as well.

@Jes963 What did you decide to go with?

Definitely a good looking cover. Especially with that blue!

Happy with it so-far? Relatively dry?

The cover is holding up great so far. We’ll see how it holds up in the heat this summer.

@AjaxTaco How is the 2nd Exceed cover holding up after 3 years. This is the condition of my first cover - the replacement is still in the box because I am worried it will do the same thing... really disappointed with the cover shrinkage and cracking... It looked great when I first installed it. But two years and it is shot...

@Jes963 did you go with the Exceed? Is it holding up?

@Jes963 Damn, Damn, Damn... I'll probably have to take it as a loss. What are you using now? Happy with its performance?

My replacement tonneau cover is still holding up. But I garage it and I have a bed rack & RTT on it for about 4 months of the year.

IMG_3715.jpg IMG_3717.jpg IMG_3716.jpg Ref Last picture) One big complaint I have now is the bottom side plastic latch channel cover warps and pops out due to the heat. It pushes back in the slots, but doesn’t hold up well to the heat inside the bed during the summer.

I went with the Extang Trfecta Signature series canvas cover for fear of the vinyl not holding up over time. It’s a soft top but I think it will be more durable. IMG_2798.jpgIMG_2797.jpg
