    Hi,
I just installed this DC sport exhaust tip that I bought from Amazon for 20 bucks. Turned out it looks good. Just for the look, but it does improve the sound a little...slightly louder than before the tip added.

Anyway, by looking at the pictures - should I cut the original tip a little shorter so that this DC sport exhaust tip doesn't stick out that much? Will that looks better than now?

As long as you are committed to the tip, I would. That sticks out pretty far. However, if you decide to remove it later for whatever reason (like corrosion) it might look poor.

I found a shorter tip (6.5") from autoanything.
Now, I need help selecting the size. How do I know the injet size on my truck? (2015 TRD Sport DCSB)

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I think if you push the tip back onto the exhaust pipe until the original outlet is 1 or 2 inches from the end of the tip then weld the SOB on you'd be all set.

That's what I've been thinking too, but $500 is a lot just for the sound/look. Maybe a little HP gains.

I had mine welded on and he cut off a few inches and changed it to a 45 degree angle, looks better and allows for longer view. By the way , your hearing things if you think it's louder, all the noise canceling done at muffler, don't mater what's on the tip. Sure looks good though !

I see these on craigslist periodically for about $300-ish, so if you are interested maybe check regularly. People pull them off because they are too loud for their tastes.

It was to loud for me but a close call, could have gone either way but because I had chance to put original exhaust on for no charge I did.

Slide the TRD tip on the factory pipe until it tip of the factory pipe is flush with the inside of the lip on the TRD. Worked for me and will solve your problem.
