So I sent Evil Headlights a set of headlights to have them cleaned up (Mud inside of them) and have them painted Quicksand and have RGB Halos installed. No big deal, they said ship them over and I can get them knocked out and sent right back. Was quoted $300 for paint and halos to be installed, which was worth it to me to not open them up myself.

On 2/26, I shipped them to his facility and received them that Thursday, 3/1

On 3/8, He would ignore calls unless I called from another number he didn't recognize. Finally got a hold of him and said they'd be done over the weekend.

3/12 rolls around, says he's waiting on paint from Toyota. (Toyota doesnt make touch up paint in normal spray cans to my knowledge, so who knows what the hell he was actually waiting on) Said he would follow up with his local dealer the next day and check on the status of his order.

3/14, sends a picture of broken solder on the RGB Halo, says hes waiting on a warranty halo from TRS

on 3/19, Told him to put them back together whether halos were in them or not.

3/20, says hes waiting on the halo replacement still from TRS. Says he wont paint them anymore, and already drilled into the headlights for the halos so he wouldnt ship them back.

3/24, says halos should be in the following monday. "should be ready to ship same day"

Radio silence for a few days....

3/29, I say I want they shipped on 3/30 no matter his bullshit excuses.

3/30, says theyre ready to ship. says he is owed $110 for shipping.. I 3 day aired them to him for $80... Wanted another $280 for the halos and install even though he didnt paint them, regardless of my $300 quote for paint and halos.. claims it should've been $450 for paint and halos......

Well, its 4/6 and the lights are on their way to me. Dont do business with this jackass, period. I dont even have the lights back yet, and i can assume they probably look like ass. who knows.

IIRC (and sometimes that's a stretch) that crowd got banned a while ago.

Seems like an employee was raving on product, got backed in a corner with conflicting statements, the owner showed up and told everyone off. Or some nonsense like that.

Damn, did you pay by CC. I would cancel or challenge it and get your money back. Been there done that but got one set paid back. That totally sucks.

That shit ass work is beyond me. My golden retrievers could retrofit headlights better than this

Anymore pics? Just curious and shitty deal. I hate the ethics or lack thereof that’s seems so common these days. Sorry about your luck.

Unfortunately you are correct. I hope he gets some justification in the end. It's the 1% that ruins in for so many.

That’s all I could stomach before taping the box back up.
