09 2.7 2wd base auto 207k : Anyone know where the Evap purge valve is mounted on a 2nd gen 2.7 Taco ??? I have a coworker / mechanic who told me the issue I described to him sounds like my purge valve is starting to stick and I should inspect it.

See the drawing below: Purge VSV is what you are looking for. If you can't tell is is by the throttle body intake and has the can looking vacuum accumulator tied into the purge line from the tank charcoal cannister.

Thank you Sir. Tremendous help this diagram is....The line pointing down from (purge vsv) on the top left diagram. Is that line pointing rite next to the purge electrical conection ?? Q. Would this diagram be in a typical Hayes or Chilton repair book from the local O'Reily or AutoZone ??

    1.) Yes.

2.) I really don't know about Hayes or Chiltons I haven't used them in many years (decades). I usually use the manufacturer manuals and documents.
