Hello, I am trying to find a Evaporative Pressure Sensor for my 2004 Tacoma 3.4, 4x4. However the dealers wont give me the part number. The dealers indicate their are 3, 2 under the hood and 1 on the canister.

I am getting a P0453 Engine Code and when looked up via PartsGeek, CarParts.com or Rock Auto they list a couple 1 on the fuel tank and 1 in line?

    https://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/2004/toyota/tacoma/fuel_delivery/evaporation_pressure_sensor.html

Can anyone supply a part number or link so I can find this Evaporative Pressure Sensor since I need it to pass inspection and all these sensors are $150+ and I cannot simply go down the line replacing them?

    Are you talking about the
    "Vapor pressure sensor"
Located on top of gas tank?

Well that's the thing it has one their also. The P0453 specifically says Evaporative Emission System Pressure Sensor/Switch High. And the listings show that one, the fuel tank one and the dealer says it has 2 under the hood and another on the canister......all expensive.

The truck has an engine light and when accelerating it bobbles and feels like the tank one since it seems the fuel pressure is wrong but the code doesn't indicate that and it just one code not multiple??????

Here's how to test the VSVs now that you have the above pix.

Hey Everyone, THANK YOU! for all the great information. I took it in for some testing and the night before it started bucking and running rough with the engine light flashing. I had it towed over and it lost Cylinder #6.....Argh! needs a motor $1400 plus tax and core for a exact match with 73K on it. Install $1000-1500 plus fluids and incidentals. Its a shame since it has a new frame, cab it spotless and rust free and I just put complete front brakes, rotors and calipers as well as a steering rack. With a value of $3-5k running it looks like it getting sold.....
